Volvo Construction Equipment AB, Component Division is now looking for: To our department , Volvo CE Standards & Materials Technology within Component Division, Product Development, we are now looking for a Development Engineer - Specialist in Surface Treatment / Painting The department, Volvo CE Standards & Materials Technology, is a Core Competence Center within Volvo CE in the areas of Standardisation, Metallic Materials, Surface Treatment / Painting and Fuels & Lubricants. We are co-ordinating the global standardisation within Volvo CE as well as providing advanced technical support and materials analyses for R&D Product Development Purchasing & Supply Management Production After Market We will now expand our team with a development engineer, specialised in the process technologies of surface treatment and painting. Job Description: Acting as a specialist within surface treatment, co-ordinating common paint issues within an international network Supporting the Purchase& Suppliers Management organisations with technical audits of the Surface treament processes Supporting the quality assurance of our in-house paint processes Verifing the process quality by laboratory analyses Participating in cross-functional internal as well as external development projects, Supporting the Volvo CE standardisation process of requirement setting Candidate Profile: Experienced in the area of Surface Treatment Process technology Experiences of international teamwork Several years of experience within the Transportation Industry Personal Qualifications: Very good communication and documentation skills Flexible and service-minded with an open attitude Target oriented with a capability of working independently Very good co-ordinating skills Very good knowledge in English, both written and spoken Education: Master degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
