Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

The objective for the group “Bodywork Engineering” is to secure the Body Adaptability for a Scania vehicle. i.e. to strive for that body building on a Scania shall be quick and easy and the result shall be an efficient complete vehicle:
“Is it a quick and smooth process to fit a crane, concrete mixer or a box body on the vehicle? Is the result an optimized complete vehicle?”

 Your duties
As a development engineer at the group for Bodywork Engineering you will be in frequent contact with R&D, bodybuilders and Scania representatives all over the world. Your tasks will be to


• handle and solve bodybuilding support cases from the field.
• plan, coordinate and assist in executing inhouse bodybuilding at Scania’s premises.
• inspect and study the work and work process at bodybuilders premises.
• catch, report and highlight the Scania organisation on missing features or areas that needs to be improved.
• review and prepare technical support documentation for the Truck Bodybuilder portal, truckbodybuilder.scania.com. 

Your profile
You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc in engineering or similar plus a few years of professional experience. Skills within complete vehicles and knowledge in bodywork and bodywork applications is beneficial.
A person full of initiatives and capabilities to work in a structured and organized way is appreciated. You are a social and communicative person that value and utilize a wide network.
We need you to have possibilities to travel 2-4 days/month.
