Tasks and responsibilities:

The role as a Development Engineer is partly a new position at Andritz Technologies, which means that the job description and the role will to some extent be adapted to your background, previous experiences and your personal technical interest areas. The person we want to hire shall have an education in Electronic design and work experience in the same area or in System design or system testing. We are primarily looking for a person who is interested in developing their knowledge in system design and, going forward, also in measurement technology. To start with, your main areas of responsibility are in the field of electronics and testing. You work with X-ray machines for industry and are responsible for testing, problem-solving and building prototypes. At the beginning of your employment, a lot of time will be spent learning how the machines work and then work more in terms of testing and design. In this position, you also work with technical documentation such as test procedures and test protocols, but also requirement specifications and system specifications for electronics. Long-term there is an opportunity to develop skills and experience in X-ray measurement technology, measurement algorithm development and similar. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with the customer and with the machines out in the factories if that is something that motivates you.

Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:

• B.Sc. in for example, electronics or related technical degree
• 1-3 years of experience of a role in electronics and/or system testing
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus
• Experience of programming is an advantage
• Drivers license is required
