The Transmission and Axle development department within Volvo CE is located in Eskilstuna. The development of world class transmissions and axles for Volvo CE machines is carried out in dedicated cross-functional teams and the manufacturing is done in our own plant in Eskilstuna.

Our components are installed in Volvo CE premium equipment like Wheel Loaders, Articulated Haulers and Excavators. This applies not only to conventional machines but also our upcoming range of electromobility machines. We believe in a diverse and creative workplace that brings out the best in everyone. Gears and splines are one of the fundamental machine elements in our current and future transmission systems, and right now we see a need to expand in this area.

Who Are You?
You are a development engineer who has good exposure in gear and spline design incl. micro geometry and durability calculations. You have a relevant university degree and you like working in teams to get the work done. You have a positive attitude and is eager to develop yourself and to learn new things. You are good at speaking and writing English and can either speak or are willing to learn Swedish. Experience from driveline development and gear manufacturing is a great advantage.
