Volvo Construction Equipment, a business area within the Volvo Group, is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers, road development equipment and compact equipment. Production facilities are located in Europe, Asia, North America and Latin America. Want to join and further develop our already world-leading products? The department is responsible for both new development and product maintenance of various hydraulic functions and components for both Articulated Haulers and Wheel Loaders. Challenges ahead include increased customer requirements for both functionality and quality as well as new design solutions against the more fuel-efficient products. Examples of tasks are: . Specification of hydraulic components . Drawings for components and 3D modelling . Technical contacts with our suppliers . System development of hydraulic systems . Functional development of the electronically controlled hydraulics . Evaluation of different design solutions . Support our testing activities in the evaluation of design solutions The work is mostly preformed in cross-functional projects. Desirable qualifications: You have a technical education with elements of hydraulics or equivalent experience. Previous experience of design work in any of the above fields or experience in working with heavy vehicles is additionaly qualifying. As a person you are flexible and enjoy working both independently and in groups in an outgoing and communicative way. It is important that you have your own drive and like to solve technical issues. We welcome if you have a broad interest in technology, especially for vehicles. Contact surfaces are international, so it is very important that you can speak and write in English.
