Saab Rosemount has its headquarters in Gothenburg and is the world leader in radar based tank gauging.We export 98% of our products that you can find on tankers, oil refineries, tank terminals and within the process industry all over the world.Our products are often used in critical applications such as process control in harsh environments, accurate level applications and over-fill protection.This requires that our designs must have a high integrity level with advanced built-in diagnostic functions.Explosion safety requirements imply much of our effort is put on low power electronics with optimized performance.Our company grows continuously and to meet future challenges we need to strengthen the research and development department with three qualified engineers.Development Engineer, Electronics, ref nr: 06t16 The work consists of analog and digital design for new products as well as maintenance of our existing products.The person we are looking for has an advanced degree (at least M.Sc) in electronics with competence in the following areas: - Low power electronics - Embedded controllers - PLDs (FPGA, etc.) - EMC Furthermore, our expectations on the position include some assignments in the following areas: - Requirement specifications (on system as well as more detailed levels, interfaces) - Verification - Certification (explosion safety, EMC, SIL classifications etc) - Technical project management Development Engineer, Wireless Communication, ref nr: 06t22 The focus in this position is on integration and implementation of wireless communication solutions in existing and future products.A suitable person for this position has an advanced degree (at least M.Sc) with experience from embedded systems (preferably from both hardware and software).System Architect, Wireless Communication, ref nr: 06t25 The focus in this position is on planning and architecting the use of wireless solutions in existing and future products.The work requires excellent skills in a broad range of areas, including personal communication skills, system architecting, project management, technical requirement specifications, etc.A suitable person for this position has an advanced degree (at least M.Sc) with at least five years experience from similar tasks.The positions can be located either in Göteborg or Linköping.You apply for these positions via a form on Saab Rosemount's webpage, where you can attach your CV and letter, www.saabrosemount.com.Please apply before June17th, 2006.Please note reference number for applied position.
