Development Manager Software ATM TS

You will be part of the business unit Traffic Management, and report to the Product Area Manager for Air Traffic Management Tower System. This positions is based in Gothenburg, and you have development organization also in Växjö and Apeldoorn (Netherlands).



ATM TS Development organization is responsible to define and deliver our software products, both for traditional Air Traffic Control towers as well as Remote Towers. The sister organizations are responsible to deliver the customer projects. The development organization also have the responsibility for Process, Methods & Tools for all of Business Unit Traffic Management software system development. Our Development organization has currently around 100+ employees in Sweden, Netherlands and UK.



Your role and your profile

One major challenge for you is to develop the engineering organization together with your management team and staff to becoming an even more efficient and more software-oriented organization.



We believe that you have a solid background within the Software area, with broad experience in leading managers and employees through changes and are passionate about fulfilling new needs and delivering outcome to our business stakeholders as well as to our other business areas within Saab.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

The portfolio covers solutions for the global air traffic control, airline and airport operations markets.as well as solutions within the public safety and security area with solutions that manage the end to end information flow supporting situation awareness, decision support, coordination and communication.
