Job Description


DevOps Engineer
You will be part of the team working with Advanced Analytics platform, dealing with DevOps tasks. HAAL delivers the data, platform and tools used by a big international company in different Advanced Analytics teams. The team works in a truly agile way, so priorities will be set with the team on a sprint or daily basis.
 
Key Areas of responsibility
Maintenance and configuration of Jenkins, and creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines
Configuring and optimizing worker nodes
Supporting containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
Be a champion for infrastructure-as-code approach in multiple projects
Supporting the code quality checks by automating Unit testing, Sonar Qube, PyLint and PEP-8
Implementing and roll out of a package management solution and vulnerability scans


 Required competence
Experience with CI/CD in cloud environments
Understanding of software development processes (branching strategies, unit testing, code analysis, release management)
Experienced in Agile software development
Familiar with package management processes
Experience with infrastructure-as-code, for example with Ansible and Terraform
Experienced in scripting (PowerShell, Shell scripting etc.)
