DevOps Engineer

About the role

Clas Ohlson Digital is responsible for a large part of Clas Ohlson's business. We have many expectations of ourselves, which means that we constantly strive to be at the forefront and work proactively. Much of our work is based on the agile framework SAFe. We also work closely with Clas Ohlson IT Operations where we are involved in several ITIL processes. This is a versatile, educational and developing workplace.

As a DevOps Engineer, you are part of a development team with several other roles. As we develop new abilities, your responsibility is to:

- Ensure efficiency in both development and management through your ability to find, build and drive improvements.
- Be the engine in improvement processes with the goal of creating a complete system for continuous integration. It can be about deployment methods, more automation, implement integrations, participate in the development of our back-end systems and more.
- Drive DevOps forward with us in terms of culture, processes and technology.


Who are you?

You are a team player who solves problems with ingenuity. To succeed in the role, it is important that you are a good listener, independent and good at communicating with different roles in our organization. You have previous years of experience working as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent role in a DevOps team and have good knowledge in

- Programming language, (Java, Python or Ruby etc.)
- Container Technology
- Automation framework (Jenkins, Selenium)
- Continuous integration & continuous delivery


If you have experience of PowerShell, SQL and Azure as well as development in embedded systems (C / C ++), this is an advantage. It is also a plus if you have experience in e-commerce.

Relevant education from a university, college or vocational university is desirable. You have a very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in English.
