DevOps Engineer for Software Tools

The complexity of developing Electronic Control Units becomes manageable with the help of our software tools. We develop new and sophisticated functions for our design and configuration solutions. If you are enthusiastic about software development and DevOps, and you like to coordinate with colleagues in order to achieve the best overall solution, then this position is just right for you.

What you’ll do

You will be part of an agile team, implementing a reliable, high-performance and adaptable CI/CT/CD infrastructure for our Software Tools. Your tasks will include:

- Analysis of complex CI/CT/CD pipeline requirements and development of extensions for the continuous optimization of our CI/CD pipelines.

- Rollout of infrastructure changes, as well as support in the application of the infrastructure by the product development teams.

- Creation of tailor-made solutions in close coordination with the product development teams.

- Work towards meeting performance requirements.

You will be working with very competent co-workers in the Software Tools department located in Linköping and Germany.

About you

You have the ability to work & collaborate in a team environment and are not afraid of taking on new responsibilities within the team. A degree in computer science or equivalent experience is needed with knowledge of build and DevOps technologies such as Gradle Enterprise, Git, CheckMk, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes. As a person you are ambitious, self-driven and have good communication skills.

Following skills/experience is an advantage

- Experience in deploying, operating and monitoring distributed applications for the cloud, such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon AWS and the associated services.
- Practical experience in the field of infrastructure management and system architecture.
