DevOps engineers to Operations at ATG

ATG is now recruiting a DevOps engineer to join our Operations department.

About the role
You will work with highly skilled colleagues in an inspiring and changing market. Your competence will be challenged in designing, sharing and implement improving solutions for both our and other teams. You will work with technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes (OpenShift) and GitHub. The team’s mission is improving and providing a container platform to teams and users within ATG.
Therefore, to be successful in this position, we believe that you have a solid understanding of how development work works in order to be able to conduct constructive cooperation with other teams in the organization. We also believe that you have a good understanding of modern container-based technology. Both within OnPrem-solutions and cloud-based infrastructure.

Our hunger for gitops, infrastructure-as-code and full continuous deployment makes our team build a high competency in running services with high reliability in a highly automated fashion. These learnings, and the ones we pick up from our competent product teams, we try to funnel back into the organization through different mediums. This includes holding brown-bags, internal courses and workshops with different themes.

We are looking for a person with a few years working experience and think that you have knowledge within:
• Developer experience (preferable Java)
• Kubernetes
• Linux (preferably Red Hat family)
• Test and release framework (Jenkins)
• Reporting and monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, elastic search)
• Worked in an Agile organization
• Requirement gathering, documentation
• Storage and messaging experience (beneficial)
• Git/Github
• Jira

Meritorious if you previously worked with:
• Docker
• Openshift
• Ansible
• Puppet

Your responsibilities as Devops engineer
• Provide stable and reliable infrastructure baselines for the Development teams in collaboration with IT Operations
• Support for the common environments used by Development teams and continuously develop them to smoothen the delivery pipeline and maintain a five nine uptime for our production environment.
• Support the Development teams to grow and deliver healthy SW, by facilitating tools and process alignment.
• Interact with distributed Development teams.
