Who are we?
Volvo Cars is a company on a mission; to bring traditional car manufacturing into a connected, sustainable and smart future.
Since 1927, we have been a brand known for our commitment to safety, creating innovative cars that make life less complicated for our consumers. In 2010, we decided to transform our business, resulting in a totally new generation of cars and technologies, as well as steady growth and record sales. Today, we’re expanding our global footprint in Europe, China and the US, and we’re on the lookout for new talent.
We are constantly pushing our own skills and abilities to drive change in the automobile industry like never before. We are looking for innovative, committed people to join us in this endeavour and create safe, sustainable and connected cars. We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.
What’s in it for you?
This role is within our Global Online Experience team, which is using digital technologies to reinvent the experience of becoming a Volvo customer. There's no reason the experience of buying a car should be painful and difficult – it should be as enjoyable and exciting as actually having a new car. That is our mission.
What You’ll do
You will be a part of the Digital Publishing team being responsible for the content editing in one of our Product teams developing consumer-facing and internal products across more than 100 countries. We create the end-to-end experience for online sales/subscriptions of cars, global campaigns as well as frameworks for other parts of Volvo cars. Your responsibilities will include performing the content editing as well as setting up master structures in the CMS and sometimes via code, creating pull requests in GitHub, as well as setting the guidelines and requirements on the editorial practices in the development process.
You and your skills
You are a hands-on content editor with experience from backend editing and configuration of components. You have strong super-user skills in CMS, such as SiteCore, AEM or Oracle. You are experienced working in agile teams where you contribute to building a path for successful collaboration between digital content editors at different levels.
You are a curious and open-minded person who are continuously striving to develop your skillsets. Since we are a global company, being fluent in English, verbal and written, is a must.
Last but not least, share our passion for cars and developments in the auto industry.

We believe in radical truth and transparency. Sharing information more broadly means everyone can make better decisions. Constantly seeking the truth through hard facts and data generally leads to optimal outcomes. Our team sets very high standards and takes great pride in our work. We strive to work hard and with a purpose since everything should be tied back to a deeper goal. Our team also believes in having fun and not taking ourselves too seriously. We enjoy each other’s company and welcome those with diverse backgrounds and experiences, however, there is shared commonality in our values that bind us as friends and colleagues. Lastly, we want everyone on our team to think and as an owner. Owners think about things holistically and proactively do what is necessary to achieve success. They own their outcomes and never brush away issues even if it’s not in their direct domain.
