Volvo Cars is on an ambitious journey when it comes to electrification, aiming for 50% of global sales to be pure electrified by 2025. To ensure we can achieve and sustain a strong position in the market as an electrified OEM, it is critical to have a solid set up for how to handle aftermarket challenges.
Battery Lifecycle Services have implemented Battery Centers in each major region to secure battery pack replacement supply for the aftermarket as well as fulfilling Volvo Cars strategy for electric vehicle batteries post 1st life. Our purpose is to deliver circular, cost efficient and responsible battery lifecycle services. We manage re-use, repair, remanufacture and recycling of high voltage batteries. Our activities also include battery take back of severely damaged batteries and logistic solutions.
What you'll do
* Lead digital integration initiatives from an architecture perspective across Battery Lifecycle Services to ensure current and future operations are efficient and meet all digital needs within:
* Battery Repair, Refurbish, Remanufacturing, build to order.
* Battery End of Life handling.
* Battery Recycling.
* Battery logistics & warehouse management.
* Working with Battery Lifecycle business owners and team members to translate business requirements into digital capabilities needs.
* Working cross functionally with a wide array of business units across Volvo Cars to ensure business alignment and implementation of new system solutions.
* Work with Digital Core, Commercial Digital to set the requirements for the development & integration of the different systems within Volvo Cars.
* Manage the digital needs portfolio and ensure correct prioritization among planned digital initiatives.
What you'll bring
You have a university degree in Engineering, IT or equivalent and working experience from Project Management within IT or similar.
You are familiar with SOAP API, File transfer and Microsoft power platforms.
Technical knowledge about HV batteries and experience with SQL, Python and R, Power BI/Tableau are meritorious.
You are fluent in English, spoken and written.
