Polestar is currently looking for a Digital Market Lead for the Asia-Pacific region excluding China (APEC)

Let us describe the challenge we offer

The Digital Markets team is responsible for ensuring local market alignment to global (HQ) digital strategy and effective communication and knowledge sharing. The team is also responsible for the intake process and consolidated prioritization of market requirements, ensuring their delivery in alignment with digital product backlogs, and facilitating local digital ecosystems.

The purpose of the role is to act as a bridge between the Polestar Market businesses internationally and the teams developing digital tools and products within Polestar HQ in Gothenburg. The role is responsible for a collection of markets. The role is broad and sometimes acts like a Project Manager, sometimes Business Analyst, sometimes IT Expert and sometimes providing support.

What you'll do

- Facilitate consolidated prioritization and direction across Digital requirements with APEC Commercial Operations
- Coordinator of Digital Leads for local projects
- Contribute to prioritization of HQ projects to APEC Markets
- Facilitate local VCC decoupling
- Secure digital operations in new APEC markets by enabling local ecosystems
- Identify, manage and follow-up on local IT activities and capabilities
- Act as the Local Digital expert/single point of contact - providing eyes and ears on the ground
- Enable market operational excellence by applying industry leading digital capabilities
- Facilitate local digital backlog - budget forecast, input and follow-up
- Maintain IT landscape mapping/ecosystem
- Provide operational support, drive local agendas
- Coordinate development with local 3rd party suppliers
- Drive market specific requirement analysis towards Digital Domains
- Application ownership, coordinate maintenance and run-time operations of local systems


Who you are

We think that to be successful in this role, you have some of the experience and competences listed below.

Masters degree of relevant education. You have been working for 5+ years within project management, business analyst, digital lead or similar.

Have been working in a global environment and understand how scale-up organizations operate and are managed. With this experience, you are excellent in coordinating, chasing, liaising between multiples teams, stakeholders and entities.

You have been involved in several digital transformation journeys and display experience with digital tools, e-commerce solutions, projects and agile IT deliveries.
