What’s in it for you?
We are looking for a passionate Digital Product Owner who can lead our Global Plant Infrastructure product team. The product comprises a global team of senior infrastructure leaders and engineers in the manufacturing plants. Global Plant Infrastructure enables infrastructure transformation, life cycling, capacity management, and maintenance and manages the cybersecurity agenda for manufacturing sites. The product also makes sure the infrastructure platforms are performing and being available and well supported. The scope spans across all Infrastructure technology from Storage, Virtualization, Network, Datacenter facilities, and servers. The product acts as a stakeholder group for our Platform area where it speaks the voice of manufacturing, especially during new car launches and plant expansions to cover the infrastructure needs.

The aim is to deliver High availability and a true Blueprint setup as much as possible by securing and developing the digital deliveries in line with our business priorities and needs.  You will join the IT Sites Cluster within Global Manufacturing at Volvo Cars Digital. This product cluster manages all the manufacturing Sites with IT delivery, both from central delivery to local deliveries. For this product, we have appointed team members working together with Product Owner and Scrum Master. You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision and scale our users globally. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our delivery. Of course, we have fun together while doing it.

Who you are:
• Articulating and consistently emphasizing the short- and long-term vision of the product to the team and relevant stakeholders
• Owning, building, prioritizing, deciding, and refining the stories in the Team Backlog including defects and enablers
• Participating in the development of story acceptance criteria and drafting them when feasible
• Being available to the team and answering their questions and resolving impediments
• Participating in daily stand-ups, sprint ceremonies, and PI plannings
• Coordinating content dependencies with other Product Owners/Product Managers, especially with central infrastructure products within the Platform area and application clusters within the Product Area Portfolio
• Increase cyber security resilience and awareness in the manufacturing plants globally, incorporating cyber security in the daily routines of all lines of business (both IT/OT). Establish new capabilities and processes that enable reduce vulnerabilities, and enhance security monitoring and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure relevant collaboration with external clusters like Digital Platforms, Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Digital, and Cyber Security
• Continuously developing own skills and supporting the team and other Product Owners developing theirs.
• Participating as a member of the Cluster Product Management team, reviewing, and contributing to the program-level vision, roadmap, and content presentations
Who you are:
We’re looking for you who have experience in digital product development, as a Product Owner, or equivalent role and a genuine interest in technology and how it works. You have experience with IT infrastructure solutions  and infrastructure/HW setup, Life-Cycle thinking.  We see you have experience using software tools such as Azure DevOps and ServiceNow and possess excellent at communication, presenting, and relationship building with teams and global stakeholders

As a person, you are user-focused and excited about solving problems.  You are comfortable working in a global context and have a holistic viewpoint and are value-oriented, with an ability to inspire and motivate others in working toward a goal.  You demonstrate being open, open to new ideas, always looking for ways to improve, energetic, forward-thinking, and working for innovation.  You have experience with Agile development methodologies and have worked in product teams.  We notice you are experienced as a leader and feel comfortable managing senior resources and can communicate in the English language both verbally and written.

The position can be based in China, Sweden, Belgium, Malaysia, India, or in the US.
