And we know that the future of energy will be formed by tomorrow’s talents. New digital innovations and solutions are vital to reach our goal: fossil free living within one generation.
By applying to the Digital Talent Programme 2021 you can become 1 of 12 talents working towards that goal. Each position in the programme is unique and has its own specific responsibilities and challenges.
Next to your personal development in this position, you will also be enjoying one year of all we have to offer. A year within this programme will include both virtual and live meet-ups with your international colleagues. During the year you will work on assignments virtually together, as well as participating in four seminar weeks during which you will meet live. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to join a variety of trainings.

Your role as an IOT Engineer
The department develops device to cloud connectivity, data driven OEM and energy management algorithms and with the purpose of enabling a connected and decarbonized energy system.
Your daily activities
• System development with IOT development
• Energy Management Algorithms
• MS Azure Toolbox (IOT Hub, DPS, IOT Edge), Python, C#

You are our ideal talent if you are a recent graduate with an academic degree or a young professional with no more than three years of working experience. You are fluent in English. Skills in other languages can be a merit. Furthermore, you are willing to relocate for possible assignments throughout the organization.


Location: Stockholm or Berlin
You will be working in department IOT & Energy Management and the position is flexible – Stockholm (Sweden) or Berlin (Germany).

Our offer
The Digital Talent Programme is a kickstart to your career within Vattenfall. It will give you the opportunity to visit different parts of our organization, e.g. in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany, and Poland. There are planned weeks including personal development and internal leadership development from our Vattenfall Management Institute. Application process
We welcome your application in English, including resume and cover letter. Last day to apply is 4th of April 2021. Selection period starts in April, followed by online tests and interviews in April and May. The recruitment process will be finalized around the end of May. The last step will be a pre-employment screening. Starting date of the Digital Talent Programme will be 1st of September 2021.
