Digital Transformation Director

For a company like Saab it is instrumental to understand how we can benefit from digitalization both in our products and in our ways of working. We are now looking for a Digital Transformation Director who wants to lead our journey in becoming more digital.



Your role

You will be responsible for leading Saabs transition to becoming more digital.

You will work in close cooperation with CSO and CTO as well as ICT and the organizations responsible for our different development environments.



Your main tasks will be:

* Together with CSO and CTO develop objectives and activities for transforming Saabs product portfolio into a future platform architecture supporting virtualization and reuse.
* Lead Saabs transition to a common efficient development environment supporting much faster development and deployment and separation of classified information.
* Lead initiatives for more efficient SW-development including, but not limited to, use of Secure Cloud Computing, Open Source SW, Automated testing, SW repositories etc.
* Lead initiatives for more efficient administration such as Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data Analysis etc.
* Be Saabs representative and spokesperson in various external cooperations and fora regarding digitalization.

Your profile

We are looking for a person who can lead and drive change and transformation projects within the digitalization area. To do that we believe that you, in addition to being an expert on digitalization, need to have strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate people.

Required skills:

* Phd/Masters degree in Computer Science or similar
* Minimum 10 years of experience in development of complex SW systems
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
* Documented success in driving change in large organizations
* Strong leadership skills
* Ability to influence and work with others

Desired skills:

* Experience from digital transformation in large organizations
* Experience in strategic thinking
* Networking and good at creating relationships
* Self motivated
