Our client in Stockholm is looking for a Senior Digital Hardware Engineer for a 3 months contract with an option to extend. Key skills are: UMTS/WCDMA/GSM, RBS/BTS/Base Station/PICO Base Station/ Micro Base Station, Digital Hardware design/PCB/SI, DFT/Design For Testability, DFM/Design For Manufacture, DFR/Design for Reliability, PowerPC Job Description: . Responsible for Digital Hardware design in a compact WCDMA Base Station, covering development phases from concept study, system design, implementation to manufacturing. Essential Skills required: . >5 years industrial experience as a digital Hardware Engineer (such as board design, SI simulation, FPGA, CPLD, DSP and peripheral hardware design and PCB design). . Solid experience in electronic product development, from component selection to a high volume manufacturing. . Experience in generation and implementation of test plans as well as in debugging hardware. . Experience with product certification and international standards to make the product compliance. . Experience with DFR, DFT and DFM. . Familiarity with SI simulations. . Familiarity with the WEEE directive and RoHs requirements. Additional skills required: . Fluent spoken and written English . Good communications and presentation skills . The ability to communicate and work in multicultural team environment . The ability to think of novel solutions and prove them Beneficial: .
