Director - Aftersales Engineering & Readiness

Research, development and manufacturing is a match between Swedish know-how in manufacturing and design and Japanese advanced technology. Research and development is conducted as a collaborative effort between Swedish, Japanese, and Chinese engineers.

The plant at Trollhättan is the main hub of National Electric Vehicle Sweden, including head office, research & development and manufacturing.



Description
Our Engineering department is now creating a strong foundation of skills and we are therefore looking for a Director – Aftersales Engineering & Readiness.

You will use your technical skills and your ability to lead others, as this role is expected to:

-          Lead, coordinate and inspire the aftersales team in their daily work.

-          Develop, implement and manage a cross functional process to drive feedback
           from the marketplace (aftersales operations, network and customers) into
           product development and manufacturing operations.

-          Be responsible for service/ parts and diagnostic engineering, requirement
           settings and validation.

-          Monitor and fulfill legal compliance of regulations such as BER, EU5/EU6 &
           CARB etc. in the aftersales area.

-          Define, maintain and continuously improve strategy development,
           implementation, writing, publishing and business management of aftersales
           deliverables to the marketplace and manufacturing operations.

-          Be responsible for development, implementation and management of a
           translation process for customer information and aftersales deliverables.


Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:

-          Relevant experience in the work area, at least 10 years, preferably in the
           automotive industry.

-          Master of Science degree or equivalent experience.

-          Drivers license B

 

You master English, both spoken and written.

-          Have excellent automotive industry knowledge.
