Director, Biometrics

PCG Clinical Services AB is hiring a Director to our Biometrics Department

PCG Clinical Services AB is a Scandinavian full-service CRO with the main office located in Uppsala, Sweden. The company was founded in 2003 and has expanded continuously since then; we are today more than 60 employees. Our capabilities range from early study advice through execution of Phase I to Phase IV trials, supported by our flexible global partner network. We offer services within project management, monitoring, data management including expertise within the EDC system Viedoc, biostatistics and medical writing.

We are strengthening our organization by recruiting a Director, Biometrics to our office in Uppsala (alternative locations can be discussed with the right candidate). The Biometrics department consists of the groups EDC Management, Biostatistics and Medical Writing. As Director Biometrics, you will be responsible for the performance and results of the department ensuring that you have the correct staff numbers and team competence, processes, tools and vendors in place to deliver the department's portfolio of trials. On a daily basis, you will supervise the managers of the department and take responsibility for operational questions. You will also work strategically ensuring that the department is fit for purpose and functioning to the required standards both in the present and as we build for the future.

To qualify for this role, you should have several years' experience from the pharmaceutical industry and/or CRO within the Biometrics field and at least five years' experience from a management position. You have excellent knowledge of ICH-GCP, ISO14155, CDISC and other current and relevant regulations and standards and possess a thorough understanding of strategic and operational aspects within clinical research and development.

As PCG Clinical Services AB is a global Biometrics provider, you must have excellent skills in both written and spoken English. Being fluent in Swedish is a major advantage.
