Since 2013 CEVT has grown rapidly and now keeps some 2000 people busy. China Euro Vehicle Technology AB is a subsidiary of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group.

CEVT has a dream opportunity for a leader with interest and experience with function and system development in the automotive industry and who thrives in diversity who aligns with our core values to Think Big, Find A Way, and Be Inspired. 
We are evolving our organization to achieve greater product focus, to bridge the traditional automotive vehicle projects with the greater and more rapidly evolving wireless, cloud, and data environments. We are looking for a strong and collaborative leader who can take over the leadership of this evolution, to inspire our people and teams to deliver, and align our value and work with our product team, colleagues, suppliers and other stakeholders. 
The role reports to the Vice President of Feature Development and will be part of the function unit management leadership team with colleagues from Product Management, UX, and Software.  Your team consists of three senior managers and currently around 65 engineers within your product areas Infotainment and Connectivity (Connected Features), Body, Climate, and Power Supply (E/E Body Features), and Safety (ADAS, Parking, and Side Object Detection).

Relationships and networks will be instrumental to succeed in the role, and thus travel to China/Asia is expected on a bi-monthly basis. You should have high self-awareness and emotional intelligence, to be aware of your impact and influence on others and be open to change and try different solutions to achieve the best outcome.
Responsibilities/Tasks
* Lead and develop strategies in the functional area, including innovation of technology, process, and keep up within the latest trends.
* Lead and manage your team, including recruitment, performance and competence development. Provide coaching and guidance to employees to ensure deliveries and personal development.  Have a strategy for key competence needs, identify gaps, and work to fill them in a good quality and cost balance.
* Be overall responsible for planning and securing all team deliveries (technology, time and cost).
* Investigate opportunities and synergies for effective re-use and efficient product development, help to drive organizational efficiencies and a collaborative spirit.


Needed Competencies/Skills
* BSc in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or similar.
* Leadership skills with ability to inspire, drive, motivate and coach both direct and 2nd tier reports, while working effectively with peers and colleagues. 
* Experience in function or system engineering in Infotainment/Connectivity, Safety or E/E and Body. 
* Ability to communicate clearly and be perceptive.  English is mandatory, Swedish and/or Mandarin are advantageous.
Ability to combine strategic and operational mindset.
