Director for EUP at Scania IT

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

The End User Productivity (EUP) organisation at Scania has 180 colleagues working to provide services to the entire Scania organisation globally.

EUP is currently on an exciting change journey towards becoming a more value-oriented organisation, working with value streams, transforming our ways of working together with partners handling all commodity activities. For this, we need a new forward-thinking leader that will join us in driving towards new technologies, new business models, a modern culture and modern ways-of-working.

Your commitments / mission

You are used to work all the way through the stack – you co-create the visions with the business we support as well as your own organization. At the same time, you have the ability to understand the details of a challenging delivery. You also need to be able to support your organisation in efforts to grow and improve in all areas over time.

You will lead IT changes on a global scale with great energy and motivation, in close collaboration with our sourcing partners. Transparency is a principle you believe in.

You understand that knowledge is crucial for our business and you create an inspiring climate where the employees can increase and nourish their knowledge.

You love the challenge to help Scania utilize the unused great potential in the services from the organization.

Your profile

You are great at building networks and creating a direction for the change journey to get people excited and on-board! Apart from introducing new modern solutions and services you have a sensitive eye for uptime and understand how important learning from deviations is in a culture of continuous improvements.

You must also have the following:

• IT education and/or at least 6 years’ experience within IT
• At least 3 years of managerial experience leading IT changes and change management
• Great communication skills in English, written and oral

Leadership skills

You are a servant leader with a passion and understanding for an agile culture and value-oriented ways of working. Furthermore, you are humble, and you want to develop your leadership skills continuously at the same time as we develop as an organisation. You have a lot of enthusiasm and you have the ability to see people and their possibilities. You have courage, you want to test new ideas and have them tried in short iterations; you continuously adapt based upon the outcome.

What you get

Your dream job! You consider this exciting challenge - to drive towards new technologies, new business models, modern culture and modern ways-of-working – to be the optimal job.

Also, as part of the VW group and TRATON group, we have huge possibilities for synergies and cooperation. You will see this as an opportunity to create a plan how to get value out of this co-operation. In addition to this we also have an annual bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours and much more.
