The ambition of Packaging Materials division is to be a global leader in circular economy with our high-quality renewable packaging materials based on both virgin and recycled fiber. Addressing the needs of today’s eco-conscious consumers, we help customers and brand owners to find the best material for their packaging and to replace fossil-based materials with low carbon footprint, renewable and recyclable alternatives. A wide selection of barrier coatings enables the design and optimisation of packaging for various demanding consumer and industrial packaging end uses.
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic leader to lead the Master Planning of our FBB & SBS business. You are result-oriented with a hands-on approach and are not afraid of uncertainty. The best plan is something we can change fast when world around us changes. Our target is to provide peace of mind for the business and the customer.
Master Planning owns the tactical and operational planning process and is responsible of supply planning including wood, pulp, board production, converting and logistics. Demand and supply balancing including quota management belongs to Master Planning.
You are a member of the Master Planning Leadership Team and work closely with the Business Line FBB & SBS team being accountable for the tactical and operational planning of FBB & SBS. You will lead the steering of production planning and market quota allocations to support the future success of our division. At Packaging Materials division, we are producing folding boxboard and SBS board products at our Fors, Imatra and Ingerois mills serving our customers globally.

Your key responsibilities/tasks include:
· Execute Business Line high-level production plan
· Consolidate the overall picture what is on-going related to board production, converting and logistics in the Business Line
· Lead & coordinate supply planning and balancing activities for the Business Line
· Responsible for the quota allocation of Imatra BM2, Ingerois and Fors
· Develop and support tactical planning for sheeting
· Keep the business line in balance by addressing service level, capacity loading, supply chain performance and inventory management strategies
· Set up ad hoc actions when operational issues arise
· Supply Chain face towards the Business Line and Mills participating in the relevant forums
· Lead and coach the Master Planning team partly in a matrix being the line Manager for Ingerois and Fors Master Planning Team managers
· Selected joint Master Planning tasks e.g. crisis management
· Collaborate proactively with various stakeholders regarding demand planning, production, working capital, logistics etc.


We are looking for these qualifications when selecting the person for the role:

· Ability to construct the big picture and make decisions from end-to-end perspective based on facts addressing the relevant details
· Ability to make quick and clear decisions based on incomplete information, which may include tough choices or considered risks
· Customer-focused problem solver with strong analytical skills
· Good people manager who supports learning and talent development with the ability to inspire, motivate and empower
· Ability to lead and work collaboratively in an international team with excellent networking and communication skills building sustainable relationships with all stakeholders
· Ability to lead end-to-end and improve with advanced methods
· Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Sales, Operations or Finance
· Good understanding of Stora Enso sales and production planning systems as well as the analytical tools (MS Office, Fenix, OMP, SAP, Power BI, MES)
· Good knowledge of packaging materials value chain meriting: business, supply chain, sales and operations logic and processes
· Commercial or technical university degree
· Fluency in English, other language skills are an advantage (especially Finnish and Swedish)
· Willingness to travel


You will be reporting to Samuli Toikka VP, Head of Master Planning, Packaging Materials.
The location of the position is flexible, and you can locate either in Helsinki or in any of the production sites in Packaging Materials.
