Director of Global Pre-Sales

As Director of Global Pre-Sales, you are a member of EPiServer's Global team focusing on international and strategic sales working with key accounts and global partners, most of whom have a large footprint in the US. As such, you have an in-depth understanding of the opportunities and challenges of this market and a background in playing a key role in software sales in this region. You will stay abreast of trends within the Digital Marketing and e-Commerce industries and provide technical leadership to both customers and colleagues in technical pre-sales.

You will be responsible for supporting the Global team through responding to RFPs/RFIs and through participating in sales pitches as technical expert. You are also prepared to conduct product demonstrations, product customizations (as required) and implementing Proof of Concept projects for prospects. In this role, you are responsible for informing the global presales team about updates to the EPiServer platform as well as ensuring that they have the tools needed to support our customers and future business.

The position is based out of Stockholm and includes travel up to 50-60%.

Requirements:
-Extensive (minimum of 15 years) experience in the Information Technology industry predominantly in the US.
-Minimum of five years technical sales experience with EPiServer Content Management Systems (CMS) and e-Commerce platforms.
-Demonstrable and extensive experience in preparing RFI/RFP responses, performing software demonstrations and holding presentations for various levels within organizations, ranging from business users to IT stakeholders and C-level management.
-Experience with related software such as Marketing Automation, Search, SEO, PIM, ERP, and/or CRM.
-5-10 years of experience of technical selling through a partner channel model.
-10-15 years of development experience using Microsoft technologies. Web technologies including ASP.NET, C#, Web Forms and/or MVC strongly preferred.
-10-15 years of experience working with Visual Studio.
-Familiarity with standard web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
-Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems, Computers Science, or a comparable area of study.
-Fluency in English.

-Proven problem solving abilities.
-Excellent team player.
-Experience in US business development a plus.
-Experience working in the US for traditional consulting companies, with deep understanding of various business processes, considered a plus.
