Director, Technical Architect OTT

We have an opening for a Senior Technical Architect to join our team in Stockholm. In the role Director of Architecture for International OTT, you will be responsible for leading, designing and implementing the overall architecture of our technical platforms. You will work with the executive leadership of WarnerMedia International to ensure the architecture aligns with our roadmap and strategic objectives of our business. We are looking for a self-motivated leader with forward-thinking visionary and entrepreneurial skills to lead our efforts.
Areas of Responsibility
Define the overall architecture for the different components in the platform to address user stories/epics/business requirements/security requirements within proposed capital and expense budget limitations
Provide an architectural blueprint and roadmap for all WarnerMedia International products across the globe
Provide technical leadership and culture building across different OTT Technology groups and collaborating across WarnerMedia Global to help develop shared patterns and resources
Works with a high-level abstraction of created systems. Operating in an enterprise architect-solution domain.
Evaluate and recommend technologies, processes, vendors and tools to ensure high quality technical platform
Partner with WarnerMedia internal stakeholders in developing, contributing, implementing and satisfying baselines for security, operations and data governance
Work with executive stakeholders on architecture options, considering the strategic, budget, and product development trade-offs and impacts in architectural choices.
Work with Finance on aligning technology efforts with overall OTT budget, forecast and LRP.
Help develop a cultural programme for the OTT Technology groups to help build a new unified One WarnerMedia culture.

Essential
Expert technical background and experience, understand media operational management technologies and needs
Experience with team leadership, production support, consensus building across large originations and execution of multiple simultaneous and/or large projects
Expert level understanding in Cloud Architecture in one or more major cloud vendor (AWS, GCP, Azure)
Expert level understanding in traditional business models for media and broadcasting companies (SVOD, AVOD, TVE)
Expert in leading Operational excellence in projects of large-scale
Expert in leading technical migration, transformation, integration and consolidation activities
Expert in leading legacy systems rearchitecture and reengineer to cloud technologies with respect to business, security and budgetary needs
Good understanding of budget process, capital budget forecasting, operational expense forecasting and long-range planning with Finance and Accounting Teams
Experience in negotiating large agreements with vendors for services (SaaS, license, consulting, development)
Be a Catalyst to bring people together for a common vision
Desirable some industry specific certifications and training (e.g. Amazon, VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, Linux RedHat)
