We are now looking for a passionate Volvo enthusiast to one of Volvo Trucks most exciting jobs.

As the head of Volvo Trucks Experience Center (VTEX) and Event programs, you will be the key enabler of our fantastic event programs and hospitality both at VTEX facility and occasionally other locations when the purpose of the event requires.
Your role is to structure and lead a team of event project leaders. Secure that processes and planning are established in order to have a firm platform for tackling the everyday challenges and the needed flexibility. In addition, further develop the unique visitor experience that we are recognized for among market companies and customers.
In this role you will be part of the Marketing management team and report to the Vice President of Marketing.

This is us, your new colleagues:
The Marketing department consists of 45 colleagues with the responsibility to deliver marketing communications, launch programs, premium customer experience and digital marketing development. We belong to the European Regional Value Chain within Volvo Trucks and act on behalf of the 5 sales areas Europe North & Central, Europe South & West, Europe Central East & East, International and China. We deliver and interact directly with the 36 markets and additional private importers in this scope.

The team at VTEX & Events:
Our VTEX & Event team consist of 6 project leaders with a dedication for delivering the premium Volvo customer experience which is a focused part of Volvo Trucks vision. The team is experienced and self-propelled with high capacity to manage daily operations. We believe in taking personal responsibility and walk the extra mile on each occasion.

Your mission:
Your mission is to support the team with clear and respectful leadership in order to secure well-functioning co-ordination, processes and planning horizon. You and the team will discuss and plan together with our Sales Areas to achieve appreciated events and visits, strengthening both our brand and business potential.
You will interact on a daily basis with the vehicle demonstration team to secure that we have the right trucks available as well as engaged driver instructors for each visit or event.
You will also play a key role in co-operation with our launch teams in order to enable our successful launch programs incl. competence development, press and customer activities.
As an active member of the Marketing management team, you will take part in the development of the overall marketing strategy and agenda supporting the commercial objectives of Volvo Trucks.

Key responsibilities:
Long-term planning of the team operations in line with Sales Area business plans and the Marketing agenda.
Daily coaching and lead role in co-ordination to make the entire team excel.
Continuous evaluation of visitor experience together with hosting markets.
Support the Marketing plan by designing visitor programs that reflects our brand platform, launch programs, communication campaigns and news releases.
Nurture the VTEX exhibition messages and content to continuously mirror our market leading total offer and brand messaging.
Identify relevant KPI’s for the team operations and manage follow-up.
Build and manage the yearly budget. Execution in co-operation with key stakeholders and suppliers.
