Poolia Väst Presentation We are looking for a senior research scientist at Astra Zeneca, Mölndal, to join a team for 15 months starting on june 1st. The in vitro muscle and liver biology team in the Diabetes/Obesity section at the Department of Bioscience is responsible for establishing models and assays to be used for target validation as well as secondary screening. Utbildning/erfarenhet The position requires strong theoretical and practical experience in molecular biology or biochemistry and cell biology. Abillity to act as in vitro bioscience responsible contact in projekcts is a plus. Key attributes: - demonstrated skills in cell biology/tissue culture, preferentially experience with primary hepatocytes or myocytes - experience with basic molecular biology techniques - experience with laboratory automation equipment and knowledge about screening process in CVGI is an advantage - good communication skills, both within the team and with the projects - positive and goal oriented attitude and independent way of working - temaplayer who actively contributes to the common tasks of the group.
