Distribution Account Manager (Scandinavia)

The Company:

Our client is a major International Travel Business and they are currently recruiting for a Distribution Account Manager (Scandinavia) to work within their Cambridge offices.

The Role:

Research and identify business opportunities with websites (partners) who have potential customers for hotel reservations
Establish an understanding of the business objectives for these websites and match these with the range of services
Arrange and attend client meetings with key distributors in order to secure deals (which may require some international travel).
Negotiate and close deals, by affiliate model, search engine submission, pay-per-click and link submission, web-advertising and sponsored content
Manage all processes and administration leading up to and finalising the new distribution deals i.e. leads, prospecting, establishing first contact, meetings, contracts, integration and carrying out timely follow-up.
Develop online marketing strategies for your designated area/country
Monitor the success of each distribution account and manage client relationships in order to maximise gross margin by advising on current products and systems
Communicate regularly with partners to ensure we have a clear understanding of their current business objectives and match these with the clients expanding range of services to maximise opportunities within the account.

Candidate Profile:

Fluent in at least one Scandinavian language and English
Some experience within an account management function
Ability to work on own initiative
Results orientated
Knowledge of travel industry (ideally within Scandinavia) and online travel


Salary/Additional Information:

Salary: Circa 22,000 + 5k Bonus potential
