We are looking for a specialist in general medicine for our modern health centers on Gotland, Sweden. As an employee of the municipality of Gotland, you will have great possibilities to influence the worksituation of this interesting job. We are looking for persons who are devoted, who have a good ability to co-operate and puts the patients first. Arbetsuppgifter: Distriktsläkarna har en avgränsad lista. Vi arbetar i olika team kring t ex astma/kol, hjärtsvikt, diabetes, smärta, bra sjukskrivning och tobaksprevention. Vi har också samarbete med psykolog och kognitiv beteendeterapeut som är anställda på vårdcentralen. The work is carried out in different teams, e.g. astma, heart failure, diabetes, pain, and tobacco prevention. As a general practitioner you will co-operate with psychologists and Cognitive-Behavioural therapists who also work at the health centre. If you are interested, we can provide help with finding a place to live as well as daycare services. Kvalifikationer: Läkarna inom primärvården på Gotland har ett väl utbyggt kollegialt forum för gemensam utbildning och utveckling. Ett nära samarbete med sjukhusets specialistenheter finns redan idag och skall successivt utökas. The physicians in the primary care on Gotland have a well-established collegiate forum for mutual education and cultivation. We have established a close co-operation with the specialist units of the hospital, a co-operation that will gradually increase.
