Do you want to be one of our Card Payment Specialist and part of the Global Payment Group?
The Global Accounting & Finance Function is responsible to make sure that the H&M Group can handle all business initiatives in a legal complying way and ensure that all brands and sales-channels are aligned from an accounting & finance perspective. We are responsible for assuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace of the H&M-group.
The Finance Department is responsible for all financial activities for the H&M Group including Treasury, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, Insurance and Incoming payment solutions for store and e-commerce.
The Payment Group is responsible for all payment methods for store and e-commerce and we are the centre of knowledge for all payment related initiatives for the H&M Group on a Global scale.
As a Card Payment Specialist, you will work in a team with other Payment Specialist optimizing payment options for the H&M group. The Global Payment landscape is in a rapid change and of growing importance to the overall customer experience during check-out, online and in-store.
H&M is an international company with subsidiaries all over the world which means that the position includes some traveling.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with Banks, Acquirers, Card Schemes and other card payment related suppliers.
- Follow up and monitor card acceptance fees
- Work with country management in the subsidiaries to optimize acquiring solutions for each market
- Lead card acceptance tenders for new and existing markets
- Internally support stakeholders with expertise within the card acceptance area and stay updated in market development such as payment innovation, regulations, interchange, scheme fees etc.
- Work together with the sales organizations when deciding on payment methods, including evaluating payment methods from all aspects such as sales impact, customer experience, fees, administration, reconciliation, IT infrastructure.
- Participate in, and take lead on, card payment related projects.

Your personal qualities also include:
- Academic degree or similar
- 2-5 years of payment related experience from retailer, card issuer, card acquirer, Payment Service Provider or any of the payment schemes
- Analytical skills
- Negotiation skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
