Right now, we’re looking for a Domain Architect – someone who wants to be part of a skilled, collaborative and committed team, ensuring the Sandvik Coromant CoroPlus architecture is capitalizing on synergies across the Digital Machining products. Your mission
In this position, you make sure architectural decisions are made and communicated across the organization. You understand engineering, programming languages and infrastructure, and how to combine every part into a connected enterprise through platforms. Setting the technology direction for the domain-specific product portfolio and leading the definition of the Digital Machining architecture/infrastructure strategies are important parts to ensure that the architecture meets the objectives of the product portfolio. By understanding the value of information to the customers, as well as the opportunities of new business models, you preserve advantage of the digital enterprise.


You review proposed and current product development projects from an architectural perspective and manage R&D activities, test hypothesis and enabling technology together with various stakeholders. You also safeguard connectivity to and from Digital Business Technology Platform by designing internal API’s for external users and deciding on how to consume API’s from third party vendors and machine builders. Further, you utilize digital product initiatives within the organization to plan and govern architecture for the platforms.


The location for this position is Sandviken, or Stockholm, Sweden, and some travel is a natural part of your job.

Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a BSc in Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge gained from working. Excellent technical and leadership skills are required in order to guide all technology teams towards a target architecture. As we work in a global setting, you need excellent communication skills in English, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
