About us
The position is part of the operational management and infrastructure team of E.ONs IT Delivery Organization. The team is responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, efficiency and meeting the needs of the organization.
The organization has made progress on implementing cloud solutions, but there is an exciting journey ahead for those who are passionate about the field and want to contribute with their expertise.
About the position
As a Domain architect with a focus on cloud strategy you will lead our strategic planning and architecture within the cloud domain. As a domain architect, you will have a central role in developing and implementing our overall cloud strategy, including identifying and evaluating suitable cloud services, designing and implementing cloud architecture, work close to central IT and ensuring that our cloud environment is optimized for our business needs.
Key responsibilities:
* Drive and govern change within the domain base for business needs.
* Deliver and maintain an architectural blueprint and framework on the domain base for common architectural design principles and templates.
* Contribute to vision, goals and strategy.
* Align the domain architecture based on principles and targets derived from the enterprise architecture.
* Cooperation between domain architects & E.ON Group cloud team.


Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have proven solid experience from a similar position and familiar with the Devops methodology. It is also beneficial if you bring knowledge in infrastructure and IT security and if you have worked for a large enterprise company.
