YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Domain Engineering manager for People & Culture (P&C) Technology & Services you will be responsible for the entire portfolio of technology solutions in the People domain across Ingka group ecosystem. As Domain manager, you will leverage your deep technology expertise to act as Technology Lead for the product development in the People domain being accountable for the domain-wide engineering delivery. You will be partnering with the people. Culture organization and will be reporting into the Chief Technology Officer. Additionally, as a member of the extended Digital Technology Leadership team, you will help driving the people, process and solutions agenda for the Technology Organization in Group Digital.
The Domain Engineering Manager People &amp. Culture needs to be a visionary thinker with a proven track record of delivering on HR Technology transformations in big Global organizations. It will require forging a new path, navigating and influencing key stakeholders to constructively challenge current practices, and accepted ways of doing things. At the same time, s/he will have significant business, operational, and technology experience to support the transformation undertaking of the People & Culture organization which supports all the co-workers across the organization. S/he will be responsible for working with the Business and Product partners in framing the processes, defining agile ways of working within the domain and delivering the right solutions to realize our business ambitions. The ideal candidate will have the ability to shape a leadership culture that drives digital transformation and will be an authentic ambassador for IKEA's values, bringing a strong people and culture focus into both operations and strategic transformation
This role will ideally be based in Malmo, Sweden or alternatively Bangalore India - both locations will be the engineering hubs for P&C domain. It is expected that this role requires travel regularly between these 2 locations. You, together with your team will be responsible for:
Portfolio Management
Define the creation and the execution of the technology solutions roadmap for all platforms and services within the People &amp Culture domain.
Act as a sparring partner and technology counterpart for P&C Business / Product Domain leadership team to facilitate the development of functional plans/strategies and ensure the alignment of the P&C Technology roadmap with the People strategy and broader Ingka/Digital strategy
Oversee the execution and ensure all Systems and Processes project expectations are delivered in quality and on time and budget and drive the engineering and agile practices in the domain
Own and manage the budget and financial outlook for the entire portfolio of domain People & Culture
Plan and lead the identification and assessment of new and emerging technologies and the evaluation of the potential impacts, threats and opportunities

Relationship Management
Influence and ensure the buy-in of cross functional business / product teams and other key stakeholders to secure successful program and project implementations
Business Partnering with internal & external stakeholders like People &amp Culture leadership and transformation teams, Group Digital Product teams, Retail leadership, markets, suppliers &amp other relevant stakeholders and be the ultimate escalation point for issue resolution

Supplier Management
Manage provision of consultancy services, and/or management of a team of consultants
Establish agreements/contracts and manage completion and disengagement and relationship with the key supplier partners and license providers for the domain

People Leadership
Lead by example , coach and develop co-workers to promote growth and secure a high performing team
Work closely with P&C to help shape and transform the Digital Technology organization to be the team of choice by keeping everyone highly engaged, connected, informed and with a growth mindset
Act as a role model in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations as well as the IKEA Code of Conduct and other internal policies.



Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Extremely strong Program management and communication skills with proven track record (at least 10+ years) in managing delivery for a Global organization going through Digital transformation
Proven analytical skills and experience in making decisions based on both hard and soft data. Decisive, able to think strategically with the big picture on hand and attention to detail where needed, understanding the impact on the organization
Experience in working in projects and preparing presentations for operational and strategic topics (experience with boards and c-level is a plus)
Strong influencing skills, with ability to build trustful relationships and hold stakeholders accountable on any level (junior team members or senior management)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with senior business leaders



Requisite Education and Experience:
Degree with focus on Engineering or related areas/equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years of program management experience within a corporate environment and/or in the consulting industry
Prior experience of managing portfolio size of at least 25+mn EUR and team of at least 50+ across multiple locations is desirable
Prior experience of at least 1-2 SuccessFactors implementation is a must
Prior experience in Supplier management will be an advantage
