About the Role
As a Project Manager in engine
development and the Engine Dynamics section, you will lead the cross-functional
work within your project area. This means you will drive a sub-project
involving several different functions and follow up on the work according to
your schedule. You will act as a catalyst for the engineers’ work and represent
your project in the overall project group.
Your responsibilities
include:
Cross-functional work: You will work with the group’s
deliveries, manage schedules, and handle dialogues with procurement,
functional groups, and service parts. The role involves many contact
points and requires you to gather and disseminate information within the
group. You will drive issues forward, manage deviations, and ensure these
are followed up and resolved.
Project meetings: You will participate in project
meetings with the project manager and other project managers to gather and
share information.
Pacing meetings: You will hold regular pacing meetings
within the group to ensure the work progresses according to plan.
Daily issues: You will handle daily issues and problems that arise,
ensuring these are resolved quickly and efficiently.
Leadership: You will drive the group’s work forward and lead the team
towards set goals.
Presentations: You will prepare and deliver
presentations for both customers and internal colleagues related to
projects and deliveries.
Handling escalated issues: You will manage escalated issues and
questions that arise at short notice and require immediate attention.
We Are Looking for Someone With
To succeed in the role
of Project Manager, we see that you have:
A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or
materials engineering.
About 5 years of work experience in product development
where you have worked with entire product cycles.
Good knowledge of English.
Strong technical understanding, for
example in engines or materials technology.
