Easygoing family with 2 boys!3 days off per/week

Antal barn: 2 Var: Auckland REF#: Auckland2007 Om familjen: Dear Au-pair, We are a busy Kiwi family with two young boys who are looking for an au-pair to replace our current girl who soon leaves us to return home to France. Connor, our oldest boy is 6 years old and is very active in sports including cricket, soccer, athletics and swimming. He is currently also learning to play music (keyboards) but needs some encouragement to practice! His real passion is cars, in particular fast expensive racing cars! Thomas is now 2 and a half, and is also passionate about cars - just like his big brother! He is a very loving child and also very independent. He likes reading and doing puzzles and painting/drawing. He loves going to the local playgroup two mornings per week and to the park which is close by (10mins walk). Mum (Anna) and Dad (Tim) are both radiographers and we work in the local hospitals. Anna works 4 days per week and Tim works 5 days and also some weekend shifts. Anna enjoys sport - in particular volleyball. Anna is from Ireland originally but has been living in New Zealand since 1996. Other hobbies include traveling, tramping/hiking and scuba-diving. Tim enjoys competing in Freefall Formation Skydiving and motor sport (I guess that's where the boys get it from!). He is also enjoys listening to music of all kinds. Anna & Tim used to enjoy snow-boarding at Mt Ruapehu (about 4 hours drive south of Auckland) every Winter and we look forward to introducing the boys to the snow next season. We have one pet at the moment - her name is Stocai (Gaelic for socks!) and she is a free spirit but usually seeks our company at night and at feeding time! We have had au-pairs from France stay with us for the last year and a half and we have enjoyed their company very much. The boys have had the benefit of exposure to another language and culture which we think is very important. Our au-pairs have been encouraged to travel and explore New Zealand while they are here with us and we try to give them as much time off as possible so they can travel around. Our home is located in the city suburbs of Auckland and we are 10mins walk to Cornwall Park/One Tree Hill - one of the biggest parks in Auckland. The bus route to downtown passes by our house so transport into the city is very accessible. We hope you will enjoy coming to stay with us in Auckland and look forward to meeting you!
