ECONOMY WORK LEADER

Ängsbacka is a Course and Festival Center for Personal and Spiritual growth. Since 1997 thousands of people have travelled from all over the world to experience the magical, warm, open and loving atmosphere. To many, this place has become like a second home and source of inspiration. Hundreds of people have lived and worked here for short or long periods. They have contributed with time, money, work, and above all their heart to create what we enjoy here today. Currently approximately 35 long term volunteers live on site.


As Economy Work Leader you take on the responsibility of finance director in managing, processing and troubleshooting various accounts and transactions. This is a full time position. This position would be well suited to someone eager to dedicate their experience in managing the financial wellbeing of a complex but relatively small organization which acts to serve the wellbeing of a much larger community. They should have a strong understanding of accounting and back end business practices, perhaps you have entrepreneurial aspirations and want to spend a few years honing your financial skills. The tasks will vary depending on the needs of the organization and general manager, but a broad ability to learn and desire for end to end understanding is prefered over lots of experience in repetitive tasks. We are open to those dedicated to learning and finding out what is true. There will be repetitive work in some forms such as invoices. Experience with VISMA or other accounting software is highly desired and a proficiency in Swedish is essential. Your commitment time needs to be at least 2 years.

Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, etc.
Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director
Answer economic questions, respond to economy email and provide organizational support as needed
Be responsible for organization’s financial administration
Learn and be responsible for accounting of our digital booking system (Comers)
