Proffice recruit Professional and Educational Development Manager to Cochlear in Gothenburg Cochlear Bone Anchored Solutions AB is committed to hearing and facial rehabilitation.We are a rapidly expanding medical device company focusing on bone anchored solutions based around the principle of osseointegration.On our website you can find out more about how our product systems Baha® and VistafixT is improving the quality of life for people all over the world We now need to further strengthen the Research & Application team The main task as the Educational Development Manager at Cochlear BAS is to be responsible for the overall planning and implementation of the external and internal training program, together with the coordination of training materials and programmes in the medical device/hearing healthcare environment.The person will work closely together with regions (Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific) in developing training materials in addition to work and implement the Cochlear Worldwide Training Strategy.Accountability and associated responsibilities: .To develop with the Director of R&A, a BAS global education programme that meets the needs of our internal and external training needs..To be responsible for the implementation of the BAS training programme .To develop and be responsible for training materials, for example: power points, scientific binders, online resources and articles..To regularly meet with the sales regions to ensure that the training programme continue to meet their needs..To liaise with Cochlear Global (Sydney) to ensure that BAS's training programmes remain consistent with the global training plan..To receive input from various departments (Design and Development, Research and Applications, Marketing) to develop a coordinated training plan..To be self driven in terms of taking rough materials from surgical, audiology and marketing and collating into a developed training programme..To ensure that the Cochlear BAS training programme is representative of best training practice.Relevant background such as a degree in business, biology, marketing or audiology is required.Furthermore the person should have at least 5-10 years experience in market orientated organizations and expertise in developing training programmes.Knowledge and ability to work with relevant software packages (e.g.power point), internet resources (e.g.audiology online) and to channel and facilitate open communication across regions is also desirable.Building relationship with key maker within regions and to have the ability to take relevant materials from scientific articles and include in a professional development programme are other strong wishes.Previous experience of working in a smaller organization is a plus as the person needs to be able to work independently, take on large responsibilities and be self driven.Other key factors we are looking for are excellent communication skills and fluent in English.
