Electrical Engineer Control System

To strengthen our technical leadership we are now recruiting hydraulic and electrical engineers for our global R&D department based at the HQ in Akalla, Stockholm. All our engineers work closely with our customers globally and have dedicated responsibilities to put ideas into practical solutions. In this key role, you will be responsible for assigned R&D and Engineering tasks within Cargotec Spreader Division. Your main responsibilities will be system and software design tasks and technical solutions performed in the control systems responsibility area based on the priorities set by the Engineering Manager. You will also be responsible for design, programming and testing tasks to ensure that the strategic objectives of the Spreader Division's R&D are met. In addition, you will interact with the other functions at the facility, providing support to product line, purchasing, production, technical support and sales support as per needed. National and international travel may be required. Qualifications For this role we are looking for a person with a degree in Electrical engineering or Computer engineering and minimum five years relevant work experience. Two years programming experience is required, along with specific exposure to C, C++, and CoDeSys programming. Prior experience with field testing processes and procedures and the project 'know how' in a design/manufacturing environment is essential in order to be considered for this role.
