ELectrolux is looking for a Laboratory Engineer (refrigeration technology)

Mission:
• ensuring appliances testing on safety, functionality, performance, energy consumption, reliability transportation, noise according to reference standards in autonomy
• ensuring diagnostic capability to fix root causes of appliance failures detects during testing activity and analysis of quality issues
• ensuring reporting capability including calculation, report release, test plan and information tracking
• ensuring instrument care and calibrations according to internal procedures
• interfacing notify bodies for product certification activities
• sharing best practice among laboratories and with other departments

Key operational responsibilities:
• Carry out development and validation testing activities on professional heat pump tumble dryers
• Participate in developing of refrigerants circuits.
• Define testing methods for refrigerant technology according to standards and product needs
• Design of test rigs and define test equipment/facilities.
• Ensure knowledge of existing standards and future requirements, for heat pumps and new refrigerants needed for different countries/regions around the world.
• Responsible for training activities of refrigerant technology and related test methods.


Education:
• University or high school degree (physics is preferred)

Technical skills:
• Thermodynamics, Refrigerant technology, Instruments and testing, Gas technologies is a plus

Preferred career experience:
• Experience in laboratory activities of R&D or Quality dpt.
