Electronics Design Engineer

Arbetsbeskrivning

LumenRadio is a high-tech company with the vision of replacing all cables in the world. We have been leading the wireless transformation within the lighting industry since 2008, where our technology is being used every day in the largest TV and Movie productions in Hollywood, at the Coachella festival, and the Eurovision Song Contest. Our patented technologies provide unprecedented reliability for the most business-critical applications and our products are now also being used in building automation solutions, as well as in heavy industry applications.

Replacing cables in buildings and industrial applications with wireless communication adds value through easier and more flexible installations, lower maintenance costs, and increased range. With the number of cable installations in buildings and industries around the world, the future possibilities are endless.

Responsibilities
In this position, you'll play an important role in creating energy-efficient solutions for commercial buildings and industrial automation in the manufacturing industry. Collaborating closely with other Electronics Design Engineers, Embedded Software Developers, Product Development Managers, Project Managers, and App Developers, your contribution will be crucial to the overall success of our products.

As an Electronics Design Engineer, you will have the chance to work with every aspect of hardware-oriented product development. This involves tasks such as creating schematics and PCB layouts using CAD, selecting components, contributing to product design, prototyping, conducting EMC testing, verification, validation, and refining components in the lab. We are looking for you who are dedicated to the success of our products and have a passion for creating smart and cost-effective solutions.

At LumenRadio, we highly value reliability and making our products user-friendly for installers. You will contribute significantly to the development of our W-Xbus product line, with focus on our products W-Modbus and W-BACnet. Our products are designed for system integrators and installers who may not have much experience with wireless technology. Our challenge is to make it easy for them to create large-scale solutions without any hassle. While our products may seem simple on the surface, they are highly advanced, perfect for someone who enjoys a new and exciting challenge.

Your future
The product development team within Building & Industrial Control Systems is a small and vibrant team, passionate about understanding the users and the environment in which our products operate. You will play an important role in making different building- and industrial protocols work in a wireless environment, where the requirements are high when it comes to latency. We believe that our unique technology can help make the world a better place, for example by facilitating solar installations, and we truly love the journey of getting there.
