Electronics engineer

Electronics engineer / mixed signal design and simulation, electrical and physical measurements.
SenseAir AB, a world leading company in development and production of NDIR (Non Dispersive Infra-Red) gas sensors, is looking for qualified development engineers. The company's office is located in Delsbo, central Sweden. We offer interesting and stimulating work with steady growing projects and challenges in an expanding company.
Our product is a mixed signal system with stable acquisition of small signals and is based on a programmable system on chip with an 8-bit microcontroller.
Work description:
As an electronics engineer you will have a key role in development of new products, production system and accessories.
You will work with:
- Schematics development, theoretical considerations, calculations / simulations, prototyping, tests etc.
- Measurement / test methods development. Electrical and physical measurements (optical and thermal), evaluation of measurement results.
- Test, evaluation and verification of hardware, software modules and complete system.
- Development of technical requirements, verification specification and technical description of hardware and system.
- Troubleshooting during development, verification and production stages.
We work in a team in co-operation with project manager, sales engineers, hardware engineers, software designers, mechanical designers, quality assurance responsible, test engineer, production engineers and external consultants.

Education / basis:
We want you to have good knowledge, experience and interest in analogue and digital electronics design and interest in experimental physics / mathematics as well as providing predictable development result and time projections in solving development tasks.

Mandatory merits:
- Experience and / or education in mixed signal systems electronic design
- Good skills in analogue design for instrumentation / data acquisition
- Good skills in electrical measurements
- Good skills in technical documentation and communication in English

Desirable but not mandatory merits:
Knowledge and experience in
- Analogue system design for worst case
- Experience in microcontroller programming in assembler and C
- System on chip design basic knowledge.
- Schematics and layout CAD (Microsim 8 is a preference).
- Design for high volume production.
- Design quality assurance.
- Design FMEA.
