UCG/ Radio Support is a consulting company specialized in support to the telecom and electronics industry.Mostly in the design/verification and test/industrializing areas.We have an office at Kista in northern Stockholm but are operating all over Sweden.Through UCG recruitment we also help companies with permanent staff.All our openings require at least three years work experience from the IT business. Job description: You will take part in all development steps, including analysis, design, coding, test and maintenance.As part of the team you will also help supporting our customers in developing successful mobile phones by providing analysis support, trouble shooting and sometimes on site support.You will work in an international environment were you will follow a function from specification through design and implementation to launch in customer products.The job requires knowledge about embedded systems and software as well as knowledge about layer 3 3GPP protocols (GSM, GPRS, EDGE and WCDMA).You enjoy working both independently and in a small team and you are focused on reaching result on time.As a person you must be thorough and able to work with many different people.Required skills: We are looking for a software engineer with following competence profile: * At least 3 years experience from embedded real-time software development * Skilled C-programmer * Strong problem-solving analysis skills and very quality-conscious * Embedded software and communication protocol development * The ability to work well with other people and is outgoing and socially active in a professional context * Communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing * Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent To achieve a more even gender distribution among our consultants we are positive to female applicants.We would like applicants to submit a detailed CV in Word-format.In this ad we are primarily looking for employees, but we also invite persons operating their own companies to apply.We decline approaches from recruiters and other sales persons.
