Job Description
AFRY is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to further develop a software platform for connected digital locks. You will work across the entire stack, from hardware bring-up on new chipsets (such as Nordic Semiconductor BLE chipsets) to developing drivers for new peripherals and implementing high-level protocols over IP or BLE.
You will be responsible for bringing up new hardware platforms and chipsets, developing and optimizing embedded software in C, and implementing drivers for new peripherals. Your work will also involve designing and integrating communication protocols for BLE, Wi-Fi, and Thread, as well as working with RTOS-based environments such as Zephyr and FreeRTOS to ensure a robust and scalable platform.


Qualifications
At least 5 years of experience in embedded systems development
Strong proficiency in C
Experience with hardware bring-up and low-level software development
Familiarity with BLE, Wi-Fi, or Thread is a plus
Experience with Nordic Semiconductor chipsets and Zephyr OS is a merit
