The AMS Electronic Engineering group at DeLaval is responsible for the electronics and safety of the automatic milking system, AMS. The milking systems are designed to withstand continuous operation in harsh environments. The group is growing and is now looking for a new embedded software engineer.

DeLaval is offering challenging work tasks, and you will be a part of the cross-functional project team that develops the next generation of AMS. Your main responsibility will be developing embedded software for the in-house developed I/O boards that controls the robotic arm. You will have access to good lab facilities in the office building, and there is also a test farm next to the office were further testing can be done.

Qualifications:

• BSc Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience of working with embedded software
• Experience of C programming in embedded systems
• Experience of working with CAN and ARM processors
• Good knowledge of electrical circuit diagrams
• Troubleshooting using oscilloscope and multimeter
• Excellent English, written and spoken, is required
