Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania’s goal is clear. To be the leader in sustainable transport we must further reduce carbon dioxide emissions and contribute to the development of sustainable transport solutions. Do you want to take part in accepting this challenge? Internal combustion engines, fuel cells and other electric driven powertrains will coexist and the use of alternative fuels will be a prerequisite for a rapidly evolving sustainable transport system. Understanding the market development and technical challenges is important to ensure the right quality and impact of Scania products as well as to ensure that the correct regulations are developed.
Responsibilities
As a member of the emission- and fuel requirements team you will work cross-functionally and support the entire R&D department to provide basis for Scania roadmaps and project definitions in areas such as:
• Future requirements within powertrain efficiency and carbon dioxide emissions
• Technical expertise of gaseous fuels such as natural gas, biogas and hydrogen
• Sustainability, availability, economy, policies and research for fuels, especially renewable fuels
You will represent Scania both nationally and internationally in internal and external groups and projects on regulatory development of powertrain efficiency and gaseous fuel quality and life cycle aspects.
Your profile
You are an experienced engineer with knowledge in internal combustion technology as well as in fuels. Knowledge of battery- and electric machine performance is beneficial. You are self-driven and have good communication skills. Fluency in Swedish and English is a requirement.
