Engelska Skolan Norr Counselor/Kurator K-9

ESN is a 'friskola' located in the Östermalm section of Stockholm. There are 520 students from many backgrounds and a staff that mirrors the student population. We are looking for a School Counselor/Kurator to work with our students, teachers and parents. Your job will be to work with the Student Care team to determine services needed for students, helping mentor student assistants, discussing student needs with our staff and directly counseling students in need. It is a tough but rewarding position. We are looking for someone with experience within the school world as well as someone familiar with the Swedish Educational and Social Services System. Fluency in both Swedish and English is a must. The job is an 'uppehållstjänst' which is 88% of full time with time off during school holidays. Our regular counselor is going on maternity leave for the 2009-2010 school year.
