We are now looking for an Engineer Configuration within the department of Product Lifecycle Engineering!

 

Description

The Product Lifecycle Engineering department is incorporated inside the Technical Development Organization. The overall responsibilities of the department Product Lifecycle Engineering are to formulate requirements, design influence, develop diagnostics and technical information as well as deliver or publish the information to customers. Our customers are both internal and external, during the vehicles complete lifecycle until scrapping.

 

As Engineer Configuration, you will manage the configuration process incl. procedures, work templates and tools. Your focus areas will be variant management and change management. You will collaborate internally with IT, Marketing, Product Development, Production and with external partners.



This role also involves:

- Variant Management - Responsibility for defining variant data (options and restriction rules) in our product configurator
- Change Management - Convening, conduct and coordinate Change Board meetings

  

 

We are looking for someone who has:

- University degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience in the work area, at least 5 years and preferably in the automotive industry
- Proven working experience in projects and able to run several projects in parallel
- Experience in configuration and automotive standards such as: CMII, ISO 26262, ISO10303
- Interest of working with product structure
- Experience in product configurators such as Teamcenter configurator, Configit ACE, Tacton TCStudio or similar is a merit
- Experience in scrum and software development is a merit
- Experience in UML, Use case, Test case is a merit
- Excellent knowledge and skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Driver license B
