Job title: Engineer (Piping)

Location: Renfrew, Scotland

Quals/Skills:
Must have a minimum of HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with pipe design components or preferably an HND Mechanical engineering with pipe design components.

Must have PSA5 experience as well as knowledge and understanding of ASME B31.1,B31.3, BS806 and related standards and HS&E legislation related to products and services.
Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9000 series and Quality standards related to products and services also required.

Job Role:
In this role, you will be conducting detailed pipe modelling, stress analysis, c/w seismic assessment, supporting assessments including spring support specification.
Conduct verification of subcontractor design work, such as calculations, computer mode and drawings.
Estimation of bills of quantities and site surveys in response to client enquiries.
Work with branch and HQ engineers, site installation and proposal teams from client enquiry through to project implementation, regarding mechanical pipe design aspects.
Produce Pipe Material Technical Specifications and Pipe Design Specifications.
