 Description

The E/E Team, that you will be part of, is incorporated in a bigger unit inside the Technical Development Organization. You will part of a team of Engineers, with primary responsibility for the Power & Signal distribution system, electro-mechanical components, and 12v battery.

An Engineer Switches primarily collaborates internally with other engineers, technical specialists and styling/design. Collaborates externally with suppliers and is involved in all phases of a vehicle project.

The role as Engineer Switches involves:

- Develop Customer & hidden Switches requirements & specifications that meet the overall vehicle requirements (end to end process responsibility) for existing projects and upcoming projects&platform.
- Support supplier assessments/reviews
- Work closely with styling/design and mechanical integration
- Develop, calibrate and evaluate according to project timing
- Identify root-causes of identified issues during verification/validation and develop countermeasures/solutions as needed.
- Identifying opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce cost
- Anchoring the assignment's decisions , development and status with the responsible line management

We are looking for someone who has:

- Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience from automotive switch development, or equivalent electro-mechanic & mechatronics development, minimum 2 years
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license B
