What you'll do

We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated System Engineer to join our 94200 Core System Components department.
* Create and establish a well-balanced technical, logical, and economical solution for your system area that seamlessly integrates with adjacent system areas.
* Be an integral part of establishing and developing the system engineering structure within relevant technology areas.
* Introduce and implement effective working processes within the department to enhance efficiency and collaboration.


Responsibilities

* Requirement Handling: Manage the entire requirement handling process, ensuring all requirements are accurately captured, documented, and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
* Traceability: Establish and maintain traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all requirements are tracked from inception to implementation.
* Break Down Requirements: Decompose high-level requirements into detailed design requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility for implementation.
* Working Processes and Reviews: Develop and implement efficient working processes, conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with standards, and continuously improve processes based on feedback and best practices.
* Systematization: Systematize engineering tasks and processes to enhance efficiency, consistency, and quality across projects.
* System Design: Design and develop automotive systems that meet specified requirements and industry standards.
* Integration and Testing: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and test automotive systems, ensuring seamless functionality and performance.
* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, requirements, and testing procedures.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges related to automotive systems, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and continuously seek opportunities to improve system designs and processes.


What you'll bring

* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in automotive system engineering or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of requirement handling, traceability, and system design principles.
* Proficiency in using engineering tools and software for system design and analysis.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
